Werkstation Turns to LED
The displays are available as 46 " and 55" models. Their depth is just over 40mm.
The product is housed in an ultra-slim metal body. The company has promised stable brightness for 50,000 hours, but also states that energy consumption is low: the screens are optimised to Energy Star 5.0 and have typically energy consumption of less than 1W in stand-by mode.
The displays can be orientated both vertically and horizontally. It is also possible to lie a display on its back and use it as a desktop module. Because the LEDs have been arranging on the edge of the case, the heat generation is extremely low. The rear VESA interface also allows for easy installation.
A number of add-ons are also available, such as special paint, full glass front, a wall or ceiling mount, speakers, or an integrated touch screen (single, dual or multi-touch).
The HD LED screens can be used as a digital signage display, staff notice board, touch screen display, multi-touch table, visitor welcome, guidance system, trade show display, training display, and so on. Developers are convinced that their versatility will make them very popular with customers.
