Lanner Electronics has announced that it has partnered with X2O Media to create three distinct all-in-one digital signage platforms. The LEC-7020, LEC-7100, and LEC-7900 fanless embedded computer systems now integrate X2O Media’s Xpresenter Xe software to provide users with complete, turnkey digital signage solutions for a wide variety of applications.

 
X2O Media is a full-service provider of software, network management, and content services for professional digital signage applications. Designed for customers that don’t require the full feature set of the company’s Xpresenter digital signage platform, Xpresenter Xe combines broadcast-quality output and point-and-click content management tools with varying levels of output complexity to meet the needs of any application.
 
 
The platforms include the Digital Poster for still images, Video Poster for stills and video, and Dynamic DS for stills, video, and data-driven graphics. Lanner states that its computing systems offer the industry’s smallest form factor and are among the most reliable, environmentally friendly, low-power players for digital signage on the market today. The systems combined with Xpresenter Xe running the Microsoft Windows 7 Embedded OS platform makes them well suited for the commercial and industrial signage markets. 
 
 
The LEC-7020 system (powered by Xpresenter Xe Digital Poster) provides users with a digital poster platform offering support for a wide variety of high-resolution digital displays. The unit is equipped with an Intel Atom N270 (1.6GHz) processor and DVI-D and VGA ports.
 
 
The LEC-7100 (powered by Xpresenter Xe Video Poster) provides a dynamic digital poster platform, allowing users to create digital posters with complex moving content, including scrolling titles. The unit offers the Dual Core Intel Atom D510 (1.66GHz) processor and VGA and DVI-D video ports.
 
 
The LEC-7900 (powered by Xpresenter Xe Dynamic DS) offers a dynamic digital signage platform with full HD-enabled video, data links, and more. This model is an Intel Core 2 Duo embedded system with nVidia graphics and HDMI, DVI-D, and dual VGA ports.
