DS EUROPE: The DS software marekt offers great variety. What is wrong with that?
 
Karl-Joachim Veigel: Variety is certainly not a bad thing. However, having seen the PC software market develop over the last twenty years, I know that unsustainable low profit margins will sooner or later translate into lower development budgets. This will lead to uncompetitive software, leaving many suppliers stranded unless they have a substantial supplementary income to cross-subsidise the software, like the large screen manufacturers for example.
