DIGITAL SIGNAGE EXPO 2011 brought together the leading companies across all sectors of digital signage. Everything from the display technology, the hardware behind the screens, and the content management systems, to the content itself, was covered.
 

DSX Day 2
Samsung impressed visitors with its completely transparent screens. Pufferfish was also a hit with its spherical projected displays. On the content side, Visual Art, Beam, and Hof3, to name just three, all showcased their skills. And Total Immersion demonstrated the powers of Augmented Reality. The Open Forum was bustling throughout the full three days of the event, with the Platt Retail Institute coordinating a series of talks and workshops on the outlook for digital signage in the EU, and the implications of new technology on the industry.
