Open Forum Returns
Speakers Programme Online Now.
The Open Forum at KIOSK EUROPE EXPO and DIGITAL SIGNAGE EXPO will once again run over the entire 3 days of the event. A series of presentations, all free to attend, will explore a wide variety of issues relating to digital signage, including some you will probably not have thought about before.
The full programme of speakers is online now. Find it here.
Prepare to be challenged…
Part of the purpose of the forum is to make you think differently about self-service and digital signage.
There will be presentations on design considerations for kiosks, and the role of kiosks in the ‘connected world’. The subjects of total cost of ownership, and how to use self-service to drive your business, will also be explored.
We will have discussions on content strategy in digital signage, an area which is only now being given the attention it deserves. There will also be a report on the scientific studies which have examined responses of audiences to digital advertising, so you can really understand how your campaign is being received. And there will be a very exciting presentation on digital signage and the human senses. These discussions should ensure that all your preconceived notions of digital signage are challenged.
There will also be a usability workshop on the subject of e-mobility, one of the most exciting new areas of potential growth for the self-service industry. This has been organised by self-service pioneer Eckhard Reimann, who has brought together a panel of experts for what promises to be a fascinating discussion.
Following on from the success of last year’s event, the Platt Retail Industry is returning to organise the programme of speakers for the second day of the conference. The PRI is an industry-leading expert in research and consulting for businesses seeking to impact the customer in-store experience. Bringing together knowledge from academia and industry, PRI offers practical insight at the customer level and information on the latest developments in digital communication networks. The talks organised by this esteemed body are certainly not to be missed.
Over the coming weeks we will be bringing you more information on each of the speakers and their presentations, so watch this space.
And remember, all Open Forum presentations are free to attend to all KIOSK EUROPE EXPO and DIGITAL SIGNAGE EXPO 2011 ticket-holders.
