Mitsubishi Extends Range
Mitsubishi's new Seventy Series LED cube delivers high brightness and contrast and lower power consumption compared to other LED cubes on the market. Fully compatible with existing Seventy Series cube chassis, the VS-PE70U system offers users an easy upgrade path from conventional to solid-state lighting. LED light sources offer significant advantages in many applications, enabling displays to be more efficient, easier to maintain and more environmentally friendly.
The L46XM ultra-slim bezel LCD display is designed for the control room market and is ideal for installations where floor space is limited. A unique screen management system built into the displays eliminates image sticking problems, allowing them to be used in 24/7 applications. L46XM shares the same input boards as the Seventy Series DLP cubes and has the same advanced sensing system to ensure multi-screen displays stay perfectly balanced automatically. Like the cube products, L46XM also features built-in processing enabling multi-input LCD display walls to be created without an external processor.
Mitsubishi's new Multi-Touch (MT) interface for its Seventy Series DLP cubes generated interest when it was launched at ISE 2010. Multi-Touch transforms a standard cube display wall into a multi-touch interactive workspace that can be used by several users simultaneously. Being laser-based, the Multi-Touch is not subject to interference from infra-red sources such as lighting or sunlight, making it highly-responsive and perfect for applications such as Command & Control and Mapping, as well as retail and public information. Multi-Touch can create unlimited screen sizes and manage an unlimited number of users.
Along with these products, the Mitsubishi Electric stand, 2B10, at Palme will feature its Play-Out digital signage software platform and examples of its latest slim-bezel LCD panels that are ideally suited to digital signage applications. A full range of static projectors will also be on show, including the new XD600 launched at ISE 2010. Palme is open from the 18th to the 20th of April at the Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE.
