Dr. André Wiegand is Co-Managing Director of Goldmedia GmbH Media Consulting & Research.
 
 
Born in 1972, he has been the Co-Managing Director of Goldmedia since 2008 after being employed by Goldmedia from 2001 to 2006 as a senior consultant. After leaving Goldmedia in 2006, Dr.Wiegand became Managing Director of the German Academy for Public Relations.
 
Dr. Wiegand is the author of many Goldmedia studies and publications, and is an expert in the fields of digital and interactive media, IPTV, T-commerce, mobile broadcasting, local radio and television and digital signage.
 
He is also a qualified banking and business manager. He obtained his PhD in 2004 at Berlin’s Freie Universität. From 1997 to 2001 he studied journalism, business studies and psychology at the Freie Universität
