Equestrian centre uses digital signage
Digital signage displays results of show jumping tournament.

Omnivex Corporation, Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and provider of enterprise-level software for digital signage networks, has announced that their software has been used this week at the Canadian Show Jumping Tournament (CSJT), held in Palgrave, ON, at the Caledon Equestrian Park.

Omnivex software managed digital content on LCD screens at the equestrian park to provide riders and spectators with real-time scoring and competition results. The 5-day tournament ran from September 23 - 27. Screens positioned in the VIP area, Champions Club lounge and in the public pavilion presented real time results from the competition in a clear visual format. The digital signage system displayed the current scores of horses and riders while the competition was taking place, as well as showing highlights and results from competitions already completed. In addition, schedule information and other important messages helped to inform the thousands of spectators and exhibitors who visited each day.

Omnivex software has been used to manage display networks throughout numerous sporting venues. Most recently, it has been deployed by the Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Garden Arena, by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment at the Air Canada Centre, and at the FIVB Volleyball World Championships in Norway.

"We have seen an increased number of customers from sports stadiums, as they are realising the benefits of displaying various kinds of information for fans at all types of sporting events," said Jeff Collard, president of Omnivex. The software provides customers with the tools to display dynamic, eye-catching content to their audiences, when and where it is desired.
