Shaping Up Nicely
Hetec is launching its video wall controller at ISE 2009.

v-match
Hetec will launch the new version 1.1 of its V-Match video wall controller at ISE 2009, which now features Time Line Editor for automatic control of the switching of the video effects. Using V-Match, video walls can be shaped in an entirely flexible way. Full HD videos can be switched, mixed and zoomed in and out on the video wall, all in real time.

V-Match is a pure hardware-based video wall controller for robust 24/7 usage in digital signage and professional video installations, that allows the user to create exclusive and eye-catching video wall designs to their own specifications. Video walls can be shaped in a completely flexible way, so the shape of the wall can therefore reflect the video content being displayed or match the thematic focus of an event.

Video walls can be shaped combining different types of displays, including projectors, monitors, LCD or LED panels of any screen size and resolution. The modular system is easily extensible at any time, and Hetec offers a wide range of configurations, starting from two input signals and two displays. Configurations for any number of video sources and displays are available.

Version 1.1 now allows adding presets to a customisable time line to automatically switch video effects, which is especially useful for standalone video walls. Video management settings like mixing videos and zooming in on a video can be pre-configured, saved as a preset and added to the timeline. Once customised, the time line switches presets automatically. The timeline can be edited locally or remotely via IP.

Hetec will also show their new V-Switch quad 2.0, which allows the simultaneous administration of up to four computers through a single display, keyboard and mouse, or with a touchscreen. Version 2.0 now allows switching all display modes – Quad, PiP, Dual and Fullscreen mode. Both V-Switch and V-Match support any combination of analogue VGA and digital DVI signals, including HDTV, at inputs and outputs.
