Cayin
Cayin Technology will be showcasing its portfolio of sophisticated digital signage solutions at the upcoming DIGITAL SIGNAGE EXPO 2008, including its web-based digital signage player, the SMP-Webplus, which supports most popular web languages, such as HTML, JavaScript, Flash, DHTML, CSS, etc, and can display any multimedia content in full-screen web pages. The player can present HD video, images, Flash animation and RSS messages, and supports most popular image and audio file formats.

The SMP-Webplus can easily extend to provide interactive services when linked to external devices such as a touchscreen, keyboard, keypad, or mouse. In addition to commonly-used interactive applications such as providing directions and information delivery, the unit can also be integrated with auto control devices and a touchscreen to create an interactive shopping experience. For instance, customers in a lighting shop could learn about the latest product promotion from the screen, while turning on and off the lamps in the shop by clicking the control buttons on the same touchscreen.

SMP-Webplus is an open-structure and scalable platform designed for easy integration. The solution can be deployed either as a networked standalone solution or under server-client structure over wired or wireless IP network, and can integrate easily with customers’ existing AV and IT equipments. This solution can also support DHCP, and each media player does not require an individual static IP for remote management over the internet.
