Green Guest book
Canvys, a global value-added integrator and manufacturer specialising in creating comprehensive visual technology solutions, has announced that its customer Green Guestbook Inc has been awarded “The Most Promising Material of the Future” by the Centre for the Future Museums. Interactive digital signage enabled consumer data to be captured quickly and efficiently.

“Green Guestbook’s creative use of the Canvys touch-screen product serves the broader purpose of acquiring data needed to track museum attendance patterns,” says Beth Hild, Canvys global marketing manager.  “Interactive technology, such as touch, enables organizations to make the immediate connections which enable consumer mapping.”

Green Guestbook is a Web-based visitor registration system used to collect email addresses, compile demographics and conduct customised surveys.  Organisations can rate their best marketing resources and map a visitor’s itinerary to and from their venue.

“The main focus is to move away from paper correspondence and optimise the use of dynamic and integrated Web-based communications,” says Ellie Carlson, president and inventor of Green Guestbook. “This system also serves as a virtual tour guide, linking consumers to other area destinations.”

“We chose Canvys’ commercial-grade 19” all-in-one touch screen as the product came with strong referrals,” Carlson adds. “Its proven durability is key as the product will be located in a public venue.”
