Embedded World 2011
Back to Bed
Organisers are already predicting a record attendance, as Exhibition Director Alexander Mattausch explains: “It is already obvious that embedded world 2011 is heading for a record. Last year’s area has already been topped and the number of exhibiting companies from all over the world will grow considerably again. We assume that we can welcome more than 750 exhibitors in Nürnberg.”
Alongside the show runs a comprehensive line-up of seminars with the embedded world Conference and electronic displays Conference. Full programme details are now online. Prof. Dr. Karlheinz Blankenbach of Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences, Chairman of the Conference Committee: “The participants can look forward to a variety of top lectures. The conference is regarded as one of the most important sources of information for the industrial displays industry.” A total of over 45 lectures will be presented on the two days of the conference and this year’s speakers come from all over the world such as Taiwan, England, the USA, France and China. As a special highlight, there will be three keynotes at the electronic displays conference for the first time, covering the segments of OLED, LCD and industrial prospects.
The M2M Area is also being presented for the third time this year with companies from the direct wireless communication from machineto- machine sector. Concerning suppliers of communication modules for terminal equipment, terminals with such communication modules integrated, system integrators for implementation of remote maintenance solutions, Internet service platforms offering users a secure dial-in connection over Internet accesses, and telecommunication companies wanting to develop the M2M and remote maintenance markets, this section is always very popular. M2M communication is also set to be discussed at the embedded world Conference.
