Ekta Company, a Ukrainian developer and manufacturer of LED displays, showed a booth made from hi-end curved LED displays at ISE 2010. The company’s LED installation consisted of a horizontally curved LED display and five arched petal-like vertical LED displays which all were assembled from modules of iLVM 6C bf model with 6-mm pixel pitch and enhanced contrast and were controlled by ERMAC system – Ekta’s own new generation controller/processor which was presented at the show.
 
The hi-end 6-mm iLVM 6C bf model from the company’s newest indoor display line with enhanced contrast ratio meets with the latest trends in the field of large LED display development and is intended for sophisticated visualisation tasks. With its full-color black Nichia LEDs it delivers more contrast and deeper black levels, thus improving the image quality.
 
The new generation ERMAC/SPU-005 processor/controller features 18-bit processing and five independent image channels, supports HD and four types of control interfaces, PCIe, USB, GE and stand-alone (embedded ARM9), allows up to sixteen different LED display devices or digital panels in a chain and is compatible with all Ekta LED video display products.
 
The Ekta product line includes professional outdoor and indoor LED display series, creative LED solutions, LED equipment for traffic control and various integrated products for specialized visualisation tasks. All EKTA video displays are designed for reliable operation in 24/7 mode with a lifetime of more than 100,000 hours. Ekta brand calibration system Uniformity2 provides 99.5% of brightness uniformity across the entire surface of a screen as well as a separate module. With the size of 387x387mm Ekta LED module provides flexibility in assembling video displays of any configuration including curved screens.
