Black Box Corporation, a provider of voice communications, data infrastructure, and product solutions, announced today the launch of its Nortel Customer Assurance Program (NCAP). NCAP is designed to give customers the confidence that their Nortel systems will continue to receive a high level of support and service from Black Box Network Services.

Under this program, the Solutions Group at Black Box Network Services will commit to install and maintain Nortel systems, until at least January 1, 2015, integrating additional phones and other equipment with existing infrastructure.

Black Box Network Services is one of the top five Nortel partners in North America, currently supporting more than 2.7 million Nortel ports worldwide. The company has more than 375 Nortel Partner Advantage technical certifications and 816 overall Nortel certifications. Through its Network Operations Centers (“NOCs”) and technical support staff Black Box Network Services escalates less than 1% of its clients’ service calls to Nortel.

The Black Box commitment to Nortel customers includes a toll-free phone number for all service requests; a substantial inventory of Nortel equipment; qualified field technical staffing; and remote monitoring and support infrastructure designed specifically to support Nortel environments from Black Box Network Services’ NOCs. Through Black Box Resale Services, the Company provides Nortel phone, card, and switch refurbishing and repair capabilities, available with a two-year warranty.
